Rhea Ripley made a surprising return to Monday Night Raw on the October 2, 2023, episode. In the opening segment, she shocked fans by attacking Nia Jax. This marked Ripley’s first appearance in WWE since the September 11 episode of Raw when she defended the Raw Women’s Championship against Raquel Rodriguez, who also made her return during that match.
After driving off Jax, Ripley called out Judgment Day, prompting only Damian Priest and Dominik Mysterio to respond. Priest boasted about retaining his titles and Money In The Bank briefcase, questioning Mysterio about his missing title. Ripley revealed that Mysterio could reclaim the NXT North American Championship on the October 3 edition of NXT. She warned Mysterio not to bother coming home if he couldn’t regain the championship.
