Prepare for John Cena’s NXT appearance.
Carmelo Hayes revealed that John Cena will be in his corner during the October 10 episode of NXT, where Hayes is set to face Bron Breakker.
Attempting to sow discord between Hayes and Trick Williams on the October 3 episode of NXT, Breakker’s strategy led to Hayes securing a match against him instead. Not only did Hayes secure the match, but he also sought advice from Cena, announcing that Cena will support him from the corner on October 10.
Having previously faced off at NXT Stand & Deliver and NXT Battleground, where Hayes triumphed, this match holds significance as Cena returns to NXT TV for the first time since 2013. In a counter move, Paul Heyman declared that he would be in Breakker’s corner for the upcoming bout.
