AEW Dynamite experienced a decline in viewership on October 4. According to Wrestlenomics, the show garnered 800,000 viewers with a 0.28 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. Although this represents a decrease from last week’s episode, which had 855,000 viewers, the demo rating remained consistent at 0.28.
As a result of the dip in viewership, AEW Dynamite slipped to the sixth position among cable shows for Wednesday night. It faced competition from ESPN’s coverage of three MLB Playoff games, two of which clashed with AEW’s broadcast. Additionally, the program encountered challenges with various cable providers incorrectly listing the airing time as 4 PM EST instead of 8, potentially impacting viewership figures.
