In a sudden twist, Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar find themselves in need of a tag team partner for WWE Fastlane’s 6-Man Tag Team Match against Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits.
Initially set to team up with either Cruz Del Toro or Joaquin Wilde, a turn of events occurred on the October 6 episode of WWE SmackDown. Both Cruz and Joaquin suffered injuries inflicted by The Street Profits during Mysterio’s match against Lashley.
Facing the challenge of being a man short at Fastlane, Mysterio informed Escobar of the LWO members’ inability to compete. In response, Mysterio stated his intention to “make a call” before leaving the scene. The identity of the potential tag team partner and the unfolding developments for the Pay-Per-View event remain undisclosed.
