AEW has officially set the stage for an intense AEW TNT Championship showdown. Christian Cage is set to defend his title against either Bryan Danielson or Swerve Strickland on the upcoming October 14 episode of AEW Collision.
The contender for Christian’s championship will be determined in a singles competition between Swerve and Danielson, scheduled for the October 10 episode of AEW Dynamite. Swerve comes into the match fresh off a victory against Hangman Page at AEW WrestleDream, while Danielson secured wins over Zack Sabre Jr at AEW WrestleDream and Kyle Fletcher on the October 6 episode of AEW Collision.
