Latest Update On Jack Perry’s AEW Suspension

Jack Perry has been absent from All Elite Wrestling since the Buy In pre-show match at All In on August 27. The company suspended him ‘indefinitely’ following a backstage altercation with CM Punk after his match. While Perry has reportedly served his suspension and is cleared to return to AEW television, the promotion seems to be taking a cautious approach, allowing ample time between his potential return and the incident with Punk.

Having concluded a feud with HOOK at All In prior to his suspension, there’s no immediate storyline urgency for the former ‘Jungle Boy’ to make a comeback. It’s worth noting that AEW has dealt with several backstage altercations leading to suspensions, involving figures such as Eddie Kingston, Andrade el Idolo, and notably CM Punk, The Young Bucks, and Kenny Omega over the past 18 months.
