In a surprising turn of events on the October 10 AEW Dynamite, Orange Cassidy secured victory over Rey Fenix, reclaiming the AEW International Championship. The decisive moment came as Cassidy executed a pin with a crucifix maneuver.
Cassidy’s triumph brought Fenix’s 21-day reign with the International Championship to an end. Fenix had previously won the title from Jon Moxley at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam. Notably, Moxley’s championship run began at the AEW All Out pay-per-view in September, where he defeated Orange Cassidy. With this win, Orange Cassidy now stands as the inaugural two-time AEW International Champion.
