Nick Aldis Named New General Manager Of WWE SmackDown

Nick Aldis has assumed a new role in WWE. On the October 13 episode of SmackDown, Triple H disclosed that Adam Pearce is no longer the WWE Official for Raw and SmackDown, transitioning into the WWE General Manager for Raw.

Making his debut as the General Manager of SmackDown is Nick Aldis, who expressed gratitude for the opportunity and anticipated healthy competition between the brands. Aldis also revealed that he finalized the Jey Uso trade from WWE Payback, officially bringing Kevin Owens to SmackDown.

A former NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion, Aldis, previously involved backstage as a producer, has a history of working on independent dates after concluding his time with IMPACT Wrestling in July.
