Sting Announces His Final Match & Retirement From Wrestling

In a heartfelt announcement on the October 18 episode of AEW Dynamite, Sting, revealed that his final match will take place at the Revolution pay-per-view in 2024. Commencing his passionate promo, he expressed gratitude to wrestling legends like Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, and Dusty Rhodes, with whom he shared the ring.

Reflecting on his retirement in 2015 and its lingering discomfort, Sting revisited the concept of retirement. Breaking the news, he disclosed that his wrestling journey will culminate with his last match at the Revolution pay-per-view in 2024, marking three years since his debut with AEW in 2020. Throughout his tenure, Sting has faced formidable opponents in AEW, including FTR, Chris Jericho, Brian Cage, Ricky Starks, Brody King, Buddy Matthews, and Jay Lethal.
