With a singular goal in mind, Wardlow, also known as the ‘War Daddy,’ showcased his dominance once again on the October 18 episode of AEW Dynamite. He swiftly secured victory against Ryan Nemeth via referee stoppage.
Post-match, Tony Schiavone inquired about Wardlow’s purpose in AEW. In response, Wardlow revealed his wrist tape adorned with the initials of none other than the AEW World Champion, MJF.
This development comes after a multi-year partnership in All Elite Wrestling, during which MJF and Wardlow engaged in a feud in the early months of 2022. Notably, Wardlow emerged victorious against MJF at the Double Or Nothing pay-per-view in 2022, leading to MJF’s temporary absence from the company until his return later that year.
