IMPACT Wrestling Star to make AJPW Debut

Former ROH World Champion Jonathan Gresham is all set to mark his inaugural appearance in All Japan Pro Wrestling during the AJPW’s “Giant Series 2023 Hokkaido Edition” tour, which is scheduled to run from October 31 to November 5.

In a recent video posted on social media, Gresham issued a challenge to the reigning AJPW World Junior Heavyweight Champion, El Lindaman. Their title clash has been officially confirmed for November 5, and it’s set to take place at the Hotel Emisia Sapporo, Shin-Sapporo.

It’s worth noting that Gresham is currently working with IMPACT Wrestling, and his last stint in Japan was in 2019, when he participated in the NJPW Best of the Super Juniors tournament. The Pandemic certainly slowed down Gresham apperances in Japan but much like Zack Sabre Jr, Gresham has a more technical mat based style which can really shine in a Japanese ring. All Japan fans get excited as the ‘The Octopus’ is heading to an AJPW ring.
