Bryan Danielson challenged Okada for Wrestle Kingdom 18!

At NJPW’s “POWER STRUGGLE 2023” held at the EDION Arena Osaka, Bryan Danielson challenged Okada for Wrestle Kingdom 18 with both having revenge on their minds, for Bryan its to get payback for Okada breaking 2 bones by breaking Okada’s arm. As for Okada he want revenge for his loss by defeating him this time around.

Before that, Kazuchika Okada, Hiroshi Tanahashi, and Tomohiro Ishii successfully defended their NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Championship (V4). Their formidable opponents, TMDK’s Zack Sabre Jr., Mikey Nicholls, and Shane Haste, put up a valiant fight. The decisive moment came when Hiroshi Tanahashi executed a brilliant counter, turning the tables in their favor. He ingeniously countered a Zack Driver into an Inside Cradle, pinning Zack Sabre Jr. for the victory (16:15) after a hard-fought battle.

Following the intense contest, Hiroshi Tanahashi and Zack Sabre Jr. proudly displayed their respective championship belts, sparking anticipation for a potential clash in the near future. The gesture hinted at the possibility of an upcoming TV Title match between the two accomplished competitors. After the celebration, a VTR/Video Package was played and that where Bryans Challenge to Okada came about. Bryan vs Okada 2 will spark a lot of intrest from the entier wrestling world, and it will go down on January 4, Wrestle Kingdom 18 in Tokyo Dome!
