The November 7 episode of WWE NXT witnessed an educational showdown.
In recent weeks, Akira Tozawa’s ongoing feud with NXT Heritage Cup Champion Noam Dar reached a unique turn. Tozawa, having stolen the trophy, orchestrated a meeting at a haunted house where he coerced Dar into granting him a title shot.
This led to a fierce clash for the NXT Heritage Cup Championship, with Tozawa supported by Chad Gable, Otis, and Maxxine Dupri of the Alpha Academy stable. However, Lash Legend’s interference tipped the scales, securing Dar’s victory.
Later in the show, following a backstage confrontation between Alpha Academy and Drew Gulak, Damon Kemp, Myles Bourne, and Charlie Dempsey, Otis marked his return to NXT by defeating Drew Gulak in a singles match – his first appearance on NXT since January 2019.
The action continues for Alpha Academy as they are slated to be featured guests on Noam Dar’s Supernova Sessions during the upcoming November 14 episode of NXT.
