The resolution of the SAG-AFTRA strike has prompted the Walt Disney Company to rearrange the release dates for several Marvel Cinematic Universe movies.
Deadpool 3, Captain America: Brave New World, Thunderbolts, and Blade have all experienced shifts in their release dates.
According to Variety, Deadpool 3’s release has been moved from May 3, 2024, to July 26, 2024.
This adjustment positions the Ryan Reynolds-led movie in the slot previously occupied by Captain America: Brave New World, which will now be released on February 14, 2025, featuring Anthony Mackie in the lead role, alongside Seth Rollins in an undisclosed role.
Thunderbolts’ release has shifted from December 20, 2024, to July 25, 2025.
As for Blade, it has been rescheduled from February 15, 2025, to November 7, 2025, completing the adjustments in the ever-expanding MCU movie franchise.
