Lash Legend secured her spot in the 2023 NXT Iron Survivor Challenge at NXT Deadline by defeating Roxanne Perez on November 14. This marks Legend’s debut in the Iron Survivor Challenge and her first solo appearance on an NXT Premium Live Event. She joins Tiffany Stratton, who qualified on November 7.
Legend clinched the victory using a move known as the 12th Step, previously used by Luke Gallows. The win came after Jakara Jackson’s distraction of the referee and Kiana James physically intervening, attacking Perez.
Introduced at NXT Deadline 2022, the Iron Survivor Challenge features five contestants and a 25-minute time limit. Participants enter the contest at intervals, and points are earned through pinfall, submission, or disqualification. The eventual winner earns the opportunity to vie for the NXT Championship or the NXT Women’s Championship.
Grayson Waller and Roxanne Perez emerged victorious in the inaugural Men’s and Women’s Iron Survivor Challenges at NXT Deadline 2022. However, Perez won’t have the chance to defend her 2022 success.
