WWE is set to embark on a historic journey with its premier show, SmackDown, in the coming year, further expanding its global reach. As 2024 approaches, the company is gearing up for more groundbreaking events.
Following the successful hosting of Backlash in Puerto Rico and Money in the Bank in Europe this year, WWE has continued its international ventures with two shows in Saudi Arabia, a tradition upheld annually. The upcoming Elimination Chamber is scheduled for February at Optus Stadium in Perth, Western Australia. Additionally, WWE Bash is slated for August 31, 2024, at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin, Germany.
Adding to this global tour, WWE plans to make history on May 4, 2024, by hosting Backlash in Lyon-Decines at the LDLC Arena, a venue with a remarkable concert capacity of 16,000. The company’s strategic expansion into diverse markets promises to bring thrilling experiences to fans worldwide.
