Kevin Owens Suffers MCL Sprain At WWE Live Event

Since his main roster debut in 2015, Kevin Owens has been one of the top superstars in the company with multiple title reigns and unforgettable feuds with the likes of John Cena, Chris Jericho, Sami Zayn and even recently Stone Cold Steve Austin. Owens has been a constant in WWE programming quickly becoming a fan favourite over the years.

However over the weekend at a WWE live event Kevin Owens suffered an injury. While facing Austin Theory, it is said that Owens planted his right knee and seemed to be hurt, even getting helped to the back by a referee. This injury has since been confirmed as an MCL sprain with a recovery time of 6-8 weeks.

Even through injury Owens defeated Theory but fans are feeling disappointed since it was speculated that Kevin Owens was going to be the final member of team Sheamus in the war games match against The bloodline.
