In a shocking new update Mercedes Varnado formerly known as Sasha Banks is reportedly done with WWE. Banks was recently reported to have an upcoming appearance at NJPW’s Wrestle Kingdom 17 in January.
Dave Meltzer has now confirmed that this appearance will not be through the WWE as Banks is expected to be a free agent by the time the event comes round in January. When talking about the situation between Banks and WWE over on the Wrestling Observer Radio show, Meltzer hinted that it is highly unlikely that we will see Banks in a WWE ring anytime soon.
It is still currently unclear what Banks will do at the event on January 4th 2023 although it has been speculated that she will confront KAIRI who will be defending her IWGP Women’s championship on the show.
