Santana is still All Elite, a new report from Fightful Select has confirmed that the former LAX member is still under contract with AEW.
Santana hasn’t been seen in almost a year now after suffering an ACL injury during the Blood N Guts match. The report from Fightful also details how AEW has continued to pay Santana during his injury rehab.
After suffering the injury & having a private falling out with his tag team partner Ortiz, Santana had been publicly counting down on social media.
Many thought this was the star counting down the days until his contract expired. Fightful said that sources within AEW hinted if this was the case that Tony Khan could potentially look to add time onto Santana’s contract because of the time missed due to injury.
