Will Ospreay Discusses Aussie Open Signing with AEW and His Potential Interest

Will Ospreay has expressed his support for Aussie Open (Kyle Fletcher and Mark Davis) and stated that his door will always be open to them.

During the May 24 episode of AEW Dynamite, Kyle Fletcher had an unsuccessful attempt to dethrone Orange Cassidy for the AEW International Championship. Following the match, Tony Khan revealed that Aussie Open had officially signed with the company. It is worth noting that Davis is currently sidelined due to an injury, and it was reported by Fightful Select that Khan covered the expenses for Davis’ surgery, even though the duo had not yet signed with AEW at that time.

As a member of the United Empire stable, Will Ospreay has made appearances in AEW on multiple occasions. With his NJPW contract set to expire in 2024, many fans have speculated about his potential connection to the company. During an interview with Dark Puroresu Flowsion, Ospreay was asked if Aussie Open signing with AEW would influence his decision to join as well.

While acknowledging that he must prioritize what is best for himself, Ospreay emphasized that regardless of the circumstances, he will always keep his door open for Aussie Open.

“They are aware of my situation, and I have to make decisions that are in my best interest. However, whether things remain the same or everything changes, if they ever need me, I will always be there for them,” Ospreay stated.

Ospreay’s comments highlight the strong bond he shares with Aussie Open, leaving the possibility open for future collaborations or reunions within the wrestling industry.
